Lucian Arseni
Financial Director
My career began in Romania where I attended Public Administration University following my schooling.
I worked as an accountant in a yeast factory and later became a bank manager.
In August 2013 I came to England and gained experience in domiciliary and live in care. I’ve worked with various client groups including elderly care and learning disabilities and gained invaluable knowledge and experience.
I enjoy working in the care industry and after meeting Tracey, we decided to open Same Ways Care in 2018.
I enjoy working with an excellent team around me. I look forward to the future of Same Ways Care and making a difference to the lives of the clients we support.
Theresa Whitford
Registered Manager
In 1987 I was offered a position as a carer, for the summer holidays, in a care home locally in Oxford. This was not my intended career, far from it. But after spending 6 weeks working alongside a team of very dedicated staff and assisting very interesting residents, I decided this was the job for me.
I worked my way up the career ladder over several years, learning, training and working within the multidisciplinary teams within Oxford.
After successfully managing several Care Homes in Oxfordshire, for over 24 years, I have moved into domiciliary care to share my expertise in the community.
I have been the Registered Manager for Same Ways Care Ltd for the past 2 years. I have a passion for our care team to deliver Person-Centered Care for our clients.
Jordan Sears
With over 17 years of professional experience in adult social care, I have dedicated my career to supporting vulnerable adults and leading high-quality care services. In May 2026, I joined Same Ways Care as Deputy Manager, bringing with me extensive experience across supported living, day services, and domiciliary care.
My journey into care began long before my professional career. For the last 10 years of my father’s life, I was heavily involved in supporting and caring for him following his disability. This personal experience shaped my passion for care and continues to influence my values and leadership style today.
I began my professional career in 2009 as a Health and Social Care Apprentice with Oxfordshire County Council after leaving school. After a short period working in retail with Next plc, I quickly realised my true passion was in care and returned to the sector.

I then moved into supported living services for adults with learning disabilities, where I developed my skills and progressed into my first leadership role as Team Leader. This experience laid the foundation for my management career and strengthened my passion for supporting both individuals and staff teams to achieve positive outcomes.
I later returned to Oxfordshire County Council to work within Day Services, where I spent 12 years progressing from Support Worker to Team Manager across two large services. These services primarily supported adults with learning disabilities and behaviours of concern, before later expanding to support adults with ageing health needs following service integration. During this time, I gained significant experience in leadership, service management, safeguarding, staff development, and delivering person-centred care within complex environments.
My first experience in domiciliary care came when I joined Home Instead as a Registered Manager. This role provided invaluable experience in managing highly regulated services under CQC standards, alongside developing my knowledge of business growth, service development, and operational management. I successfully supported the growth of a thriving branch and remained with the organisation for around two years. Since then, I have continued to broaden my experience across several domiciliary care services, learning from a variety of managers, directors, and care settings.
Throughout my career, I have remained committed to one core belief: people should always be treated how we would want our own loved ones to be treated. I firmly believe that working in care takes compassion, dedication, and a genuine desire to make a difference in people’s lives.
Tracey Samways
Director of Care
I began my career working in a mental health hospital where I stayed for many years.
I have worked with local groups as a volunteer and have been on many committees.
It was when I worked with the Orders of St John that I began a more involved role, delivering training and gaining qualifications to move up to a senior role.
My passion for caring led to Lucian and I opening Same Ways Care Ltd in 2018.
I have never looked back, I continue to enjoy working with an exceptional team to deliver the highest standard of care to our clients.
I continue to keep up to date with legislation and training. I enjoy meeting so many interesting people and am looking forward to a positive future for the company.
